Interconnectedness and Selforganization:

The whole system - sometimes literally, sometimes implicitly, sometimes through select members - is gathered in one place to develop a desired future for the whole.

People from all walks of life, including those who are for their own individual reasons connected to it, work together to generate information on the story, history, present conditions, external and internal demands, evolutionary insights and future visions.

The beginning stage is spent bringing to the surface the information contained in the gathering, in the collective intelligence of, and inbetween the gathered individuals - opinions, interpretations, stories and histories carried within all the different people in the particular place.

The second stage is the gathering of all this information.

The third stage is when this information, as well as the new information it generates, reaches beyond the point of control,
when the information is generated in deliberately overwhelming amounts.

The fourth stage is all about feelings of confusion, of feeling powerless and disheartened.
This very disheartedness is precisely what allows an emergence of a diverse, multifrequency, yet heart-focused attention.

The fifth stage is one of beginning to find glimpses of self-organization, amidst the confusion, a beginning emergence of simplicity beyond complexity. It is characterized by enthusiasm and individual creativity.

The sixth stage is putting many diverse, yet also connected frameworks and models out there, not to force anyone else to comply, but rather to explore possible paths of metalogue,
of flowing with the connectivity, of flowing with the meaningmaking itself, weaving inbetween paradigms and people.
This stage is characterized by a level of civility and compassion for other points of view.

The seventh stage is very distinctively discernible, when the gathered group self-organizes, growing all the information into new, potent, viable, convivial visions of the future.

This is the most dangerous stage, and if skipping the eighth stage, this can easily be the beginning of a cult, or a cultish project.

The eighth stage is when the newfound awareness and shared understanding of the gathered group, is put to the test of applicability for all those not present. It is the stories and opinions of those not present, that will guide the whole gathering to a convivial closure, and to bring the gathered insights to bear in a larger circle of concern and influence.

And so, the circle turns into a spiral of continuous excellence.
