Uplift

As for how we're going to communicate, relate -
everyone is going to tunnel through according to
chosen frequencies.

Stuff might be right in front of us, and still some of
it will be as if invisible. Other things will be illusions,
yet appear deadly real for others.

It's how it is. It's how these uplifts have always been
done.

Remember the movie Contact, with Jodie Foster?

Most people will record static. 18 hours worth of static.
For those not open, not ready, this will pass if
a fraction of a second.

There must be an internal response, an internal language,
there to decode these 18 hours worth of messages.
If not, all of it will be experienced as if noise, as if static.

No worries though. A few will listen, and understand.
And these few, will tell others, forming small islands of
the future, out of which a new culture will emerge, amidst
the debris of the old.

Please don't knock the old ways of doing things. Refrain
from knocking the modern, postmodern urban ways as well.
They'll pass soon enough, and if we get sufficient overlap,
much suffering can be avoided.

Thanks much for being here.

      Hi Moki!

Life's been good, just a bit hectic, business.
Slowly yet surely getting closer and closer
      to the village square.

Soon as I've got more firm updates, I'll
      post them here as well...

And thanks much for being here, and
      asking! And you, all's well?

Sometimes threads between men and women on tribe remind of the best moments I've ever had reading Kurt Vonnegut. Heartfelt love for the artists past and present.
