Is the community here scattered like stardust across the planetary surface? Are these the outer fringes of karma?

Re: Out Here
Fri, January 11, 2008 - 11:24 AMI think so, we have people from all over the world.
But like the stars, we may be spread out, but where we are, we tend to group together.
The internet, tribe and 100th tribe are a nice link to share our thoughts. -

Re: Out Here
Fri, January 11, 2008 - 11:33 AMWe certainly seem to share our written and visual symbols effectively.

Re: Out Here
Sat, February 23, 2008 - 11:53 AM"My notion about service is that service is actually that kind of relationship in which you have a commitment to the person. Now I don't mean to the person's body or to the person's personality or to the person's stomach or to the person's almost anything. What I mean in fact is that for me what service is about is being committed to the other being, to the other person spiritually, to who the person is. Now the problem with that is that to the degree that you are in fact committed to the other person you are only as valuable as how you can deal with the other person's stuff, their evidence, their manifestation. And that's what service is all about. Service is about knowing who the other person is, and being able to tolerate giving space to their garbage. What most people do is to give space to people's quality and deal with their garbage. Actually, you should do it the other way around. Deal with who they are and give space to their garbage. Keep interacting with them as if they were God. And every time you get garbage from them, give space to the garbage and go back and interact with them as if they were God."

Re: Out Here
Sat, February 23, 2008 - 1:29 PMM...I agree, to a point true friend, and then I come to the fork in the path the point of recognizing a challenging god who takes for granted that people will always tolerate their garbage, and asks to be shown that One need not. It can serve as the fabled blow that leads to enlightenment.
I find that level of commitment equally valuable and sometimes more daring in loving kindness. So many dishes on the menu of One Taste... -

Re: Out Here
Sat, February 23, 2008 - 3:24 PMsure.
so we are in agreement with the people we serve, and we can also choose to step out of that agreement, clean up with them, and change our agreement and no longer be in the service of that person.
there comes times of change, so for example, you do your best in your marriage or relationships, coming from the level of integrity. But that doesn't mean you become a slave to them, if the relationship or marriage no longer works, despite your highest intention, then you clean up, from a place of choosing powerfully a new direction, not just from emotional reaction.
It is in our listen and service of mankind that we will find happiness and great satisfaction/purpose in this life. We are not slaves to service, but we know that at best in these relationships we function from a lot of assumptions, and its powerful to not let those assumption ruin possibility of inter relating.

Here, there & everywhere...
Tue, January 15, 2008 - 10:41 AMGreat perspective Akasha, great thread!
One of the more hilarious aspects of all this,
is that the seemingly much more normal,
traditional humans, are embodied spirits
exactly as everyone else. The strange
otherness we at times identify with, and/or
project onto others, are just the thinnest
of veneers... -

Re: Here, there & everywhere...
Thu, February 21, 2008 - 8:40 AMI feel these tribes of communion (and 100th is among the brightest orbs) are indeed the jewels at the intersecting nodes in Indira's net across the time and space of the Kosmos. If we connect universaly and emit shared energy locally are we not similar to pulsars..? Or would quasars be more appropriate......?
wonderingly, another you................e -

Fri, February 22, 2008 - 11:04 AMRegardless of the odds, I have personally written in a magick journal of around eight years ago, the phrase 'quasar powered monkey suit'.
Nets across time and space indeed. And how about all of that other stuff going on!
Love with Pink Floyd playing, Akasha -

Sat, February 23, 2008 - 6:12 AMHold that thought!
Pulsars and Quasars and Galaxies.
They can be put into any horoscope.
It'll make the horoscope shine!
And, the 2012 horoscope, with
pulsars and quasars and galaxies...
